As you have probably heard by now, we have updated and expanded our menu at Beyond Sushi. Years in the making by our brilliant Chef Guy Vaknin, we are excited to share updated versions of rolls, wraps, as well as some completely new items, including dumplings, noodle salads, and other small plates.
Be sure not to miss out on some of our new dumplings – made from scrach in house, steamed to perfection, and filled with delicious ingredients inside, these dumplings are sure to become fast favorites. We offer three kinds – The Badge, The Smokey Tom, and the Fun Guy.
First we have The Badge – filled with charred cabbage, onion, garlic, bell peppers, carrots, and sesame oil and topped with chili panko, cilantro, and topped with a savory ponzu sauce. It’s the perfect mix of savory and bright flavors to start a meal.
Next there’s The Smokey Tom, filled with sundried tomato, spinach, charred onions, smoked butternut squash, and topped with some fresh lemon panko, sumac, parsley and drizzled with tahini sauce. These pockets are a bundle of flavor, all wrapped in delicious hand-made dough.
Our third dumpling is named after our very own Chef Guy Vaknin – it’s called The Fun Guy – and is filled with braised porcini, shiitake, portabella, baked tofu, and spinach, and topped with micro argula, chili pano, Spicy Bean Sauce and Shittake truffle sauce.
