In a perfect world, healthy food would taste as good as it makes you feel. At Beyond Sushi, we do exactly that. We believe in living a healthy and green lifestyle, and most importantly, being able to enjoy healthy food. That’s the driving force behind our new vegan sushi making class with celebrity Chef Guy Vaknin. We want to provide an experience that is both fun and informative.

Classes are 90 minutes long. Learn the essentials of proper sushi preparation including knife sharpening techniques, rice preparation, and rolling and cutting sushi rolls into individual pieces. Along the way, Chef Guy will explain the art of properly pairing ingredients, the single most important skill in the creation of delicious vegan cuisine.
During the workshop, you will craft a selection of rolls and individual pieces from the Beyond Sushi in store menu.
For groups of 2-6 students pricing is $150 per person, not including tax. Gratuity is optional but greatly appreciated by our chef. Groups of 6 or more, pricing will be determined based on event details discussed. A credit card number will be held on file in order to reserve your class but you will not be charged until the completion of your class.
For groups of 2-6 students, classes are held at Beyond Sushi (229 E. 14th Street), right here in our industrial kitchen where all the Beyond Sushi creations were mastered. For groups of 6 or more students, classes will be held at Cook-and-Go, in the Meatpacking District of Manhattan.

Classes may be cancelled no more than 48 hours beforehand. If cancelling prior to 48 hours, a 50% fee will be charged on your credit card.
