Every month, we bring a new roll and piece that feature seasonal, local ingredients to our menu. However, Chef Guy decided to refresh our menu a little and bring a small surprise this April. With that said, we're very excited to introduce our new wrap and salad of the month! And if you're a fan of our roll and piece of April last year... Worry not because we're also bringing our mushroom piece back this year.
Let's find out what we have for you this month!
Opting for a different filling than the normal soba noodles, this month's rice paper wrap has organic red and white quinoa with fresh green leaf lettuce. Other ingredients include cumin infused roasted chickpeas, roasted eggplant, grilled haricot vert, Kalamata olives, and cilantro. The wrap is made with lemon tahini sauce and served with a side of smoked guajillo harissa.
A different way to enjoy our April specials is to go with the salad option. The salad is served on a bed of red and white quinoa with lettuce, chickpeas, eggplant, haricot vert, olives, cilantro and topped with avocado. If you're looking for something that is both packed with protein and refreshing, look no further! The salad is filling, nutritious with a slight smoky taste.
Last but not least is our piece of the month, which was a crowd pleaser last year. The April piece includes garlic-infused mushrooms braised in a marsala wine sauce and black rice. If you missed this last year, make sure you get to try it this month!
